so if this administration had done that, you would not be screaming bloody murder? Remember, he did it during Ramadan and it was not 1995, it was December 1998.

Operation Desert Fox didn't last very long, and I'm guessing that its primarily because Clinton had to concentrate on more presssing matters (the whole scandal with him and you know who). If that whole scandal didn't leak out...I wonder what would've happened with Desert Fox.

And where was the UN then? What did they have to say about it in 1995? Just curious, I was in high school and my adolescent problems were the most important things in my life at the time - I really don't know, which is what sucks - I have been scrambling for the past year to play catch-up because for most of the past 12 years I have been a kid and I wasn't really interested in foreign affairs.

oh heh...to be honest ive never really been into politics.......i only started paying attention to them after sept 11.... i used to think 'well im here there over there whatever'.....i realized theres more then 'my little corner of the world' and started paying attention......

it almost seems pointless to get into politics <i.e. g-dub> my opionon and MILLIONS of other peoples opionons seem pointless because they do NOTHING....except to get into pissing contests on msg boards about who 'knows what'<not aimed at this thread>

ive lost faith in something i dont know a whole lot about its sad i know....

just my couple pennies worth of an opionon

Basically we are cleaning up a mess that should have been fixed by daddy bush and Clinton years ago. People are worried about the loss of innocent Iraqi lives, open your eyes people, that is already happening under Saddam. Saddam has broken UN resolutions 77 times over 12 years, how do we make him stop? Despite obvious deaths that will occur, in the long run, I believe this will help the people in Iraq.

I'm pretty sure most of the bombings back then, and all those "weekly" bombings by the US are in a concentrated, none populated area. It's stricly to damage Iraq's military and for easier recon.

Also the "where were you then" is so retarded, just because we were too young or ignorant at the time means we shouldn't be criticising Bush now, that's idiotic.

I think what's sad is that people are just realizing how powerless they are against the actions of their own gov't

it's been like this for awhile...bush is just the only one stupid enough to abuse it and rub in the world's face

9/11 woke up people for a bit...but as the flags started to dissapear, so did people's interest

If you think shit is sad now...I remember what it like before 9/11

and not much progress has been made...if it weren't for this war...sssshit people would have already forgotten who osama bin laden is

I am not talking directly to you people when I say "where were you?" In general, the backlash was no where near the reaction I am seeing today.
