last years paid dues festival was the largest crowd i've ever performed in front of ... if this years is bigger, than yes :)

no shit eh? if you remember that weird fake-anti-ipod site i posted awhile back ... where the marketers had co-opted all this resistance language in order to sell a competing mp3 player, that was Sandisk ... I will definitely look into what the deal is before this show ...
but hey, what could possibly be going on in the unmonitored asian factories where most of our consumer electronics are produced? how bad could it BE? |

Ugh... the fact that every semi-large music fest is sponsored by a large corporation with at least some corrupt ties is just so discouraging. |

I do remember that site, though if that's the worst thing the company is guilty of then it's saintly. For what it's worth, and proof that I can do a quick google search, they only just entered into the wonderful world of Chinese manufacturing late last year.

Maybe it's more interesting to note that they were a defendant in the price fixing lawsuit Stuart Go v. Lexar Media, Inc. So maybe searching EDGAR is more useful.
Anyway, I'm sure they're not that bad of a sponsor. Sponsoring this is a lot more legit than that website, you have to give them credit for that. I wish I could make it out to the show. |
