have you ever claimed to be an orphan?

"On Runaways I speak of being an orphan."

do you bite your nails?

"No. But I do incessantly pluck the hair out of my fingers."

are you nicer to girls at shows? and are you nicer when they lean over and push their clevage together?

"Yes. No."

do you doodle in your notebook?

"Yes. A lot."

have you ever been to Chinatown in Los Angeles?

"Yes, I have. My grandmother took me when I was 12."

do you have your own chair that you bring on stage with you? or do you get them from each individual place you play at?

"I grab whatever chair is available at each respective venue."

do you know if it would be illegal to put a "fuck you and your war" slogan in huge magnets on my truck?

"It might not be illegal, but I am willing to bet it would be dealt with by the judge/jury we call cops."

do you ever giggle?

"I chuckle."

have you ever played penny slots in vegas?

"Yes, but only because I completely ran out of paper money. We had to do the walk of shame back to our hotel room on the opposite side of the money because none of us saved enough for a cab."

do you like avacados?

"I eat them without much difference."

is there only one chick/girl/woman/lady on tour with you?

"Yes. Her name is Dena and she is the road manager for Gruvis Malt. She is the hard ass of the group. She makes sure things get done."

if there was a revival of footy pajamas, would you ever wear them?

"In an instant. I would probably wear them out. I am made for those things."

do your hands get pruny in the shower really quick?

"I don't think so. but my showers are so short and infrequent I wouldn't really know. The only time I took long showers was when I was in highschool and I would dread the morning."

do you like baths?

"I love baths. They are the closest thing to being back in the womb."

do you like lawn gnomes (garden elves)?

"I do just because I like how everyone freaks out over them. If their wasn't such an cult-like energy about their existence I probably wouldn't pay them much mind."

have you ever listened to the dismemberment plan?

"No, but one of the guys from Dillinger Escape Plan worked the door at my Philly show."

have you ever cried on stage?

"Yes, I did. When I performed Inherited Scars for my sister last year."

did you go to prom?

"Yes. I encourage everyone to participate in what has become such a strange and intergral part of the horror that is highschool."

would it be bad of me to convert my vinyl to cd so I could take it in my car?

"Of course not! I curse you for even asking such a silly thing"

do you find it difficult to be vegetarian on the road?

"Not at all. The meat on the road seems more repulsive than normal."

do you normally stay in hotels when you're touring?

"Yes. It is almost necessary. Almost."

do you need a scarf?

"I bought a scarf when I was stuck in the freezing train stations of Norway. Ever since then it has been a part of my every day attire. It makes me talk funny."

have you ever dated someone just because they were pretty?

"Almost every time. I like pretty things."

are you a wearer of chapstick?

"Never ever."

did this email completely annoy you?

"No, it was fun."

maybe one every 3 days. 4 or 5 days if I am in a zone.
On tour I took one every single days to get all the smoke off of me. but I hate doing that every day.

My grandmother once told me that showering everyday was bad for you.
So, Sage is actually practicing healthy showering... according to my Grandmother anyway. Big ups to Nana!!

wow that was interesting i feel as though i could relate to the answers if they really were factual, in a way that made me feel all silly inside. im sorry for saying that hip hop started in the west. since this is a forum of opinions i feel comfortable in saying that hip hop for me started in the west for me with various "underground" funk/jazz "rappers" of the late 70's. the first times i had heard of public enemy was on tv videos or that one show with the kid named corky with downs syndrome. He was going to rap at the talent show fight the power, so i assumed PE was a sellout after only hearing a couple of there songs. Who knows, they could have just been helping kids out and what not and i judge them. Thank god for saddam hussein. for the last years ive been stuck in the mid 90's listening to death row raps every morning smoking the same blunt drinking the same 40 oz. sage francis raps have opened me to a new world of feelings i dont understand in my assumingly heterosexual teen male life.
