ehhh...i still dunno.

There are some things I really dig about him, but some I really don't.

A few of my friends are starting to get genuinely annoying as far as pushing him.

I'm in the same boat.
Everytime I turn around I hear Ron Paul ripping up the federal reserve or the patriot act, but then I have to deal with the fact that he's a pro-life conservative.

At least he's got his own ideas and not just running down polled out talking points.
At the same time he's kind of a creepy little guy who completely lacks charisma.

I don't know.
He's got tons of internet supporters and not too many that oppose him, which makes it hard to see past their fluffing.
Anyone got dirt on him? Shay?

i think his good outweighs his bad. im not down with his pro-life stance. and im iffy on his gun control stance. but i think his 're-structuring' ideas are too good not to show support for.

Yeah, I really like how he's kind of shaking things up. Like he wasn't invited to the debate here so he had his own thing over the weekend.
I'm with you as far as not hearing much opposition for him though. I wonder if it's just because said "opposition" isn't taking him that seriously.

I had to laugh at your post because a friend of mine referred to him, verbatim, as "a creepy little guy".

I don't trust him. I don't want anyone who is at all beholden to a republican base.

believe me ron paul is beholden to nothing but the constitution. hes running as a republican because to get any attention as a 3rd party candidate (libertarian) is next to impossible.

like others i agree with most of what he says while disagreeing with some. he has the important things right though, civil liberties, limited foreign policy, limited federal government, getting rid of the federal reserve... as far as the pro-life stance, remember he still feels its a state issue and shouldnt be dealt with on the federal level. there are other little things that annoy me but again he is so completely right on everything that really matters that i can forgive him for the little things.
