You do? You obviously never lived here :)
It's cool,it's just that everyone keeps passing us by.(and we get about 180 days of rain a year...wooohooo)
Last cool show I was to here was back in 98,DJ Noize and supernat, and some crazy-ass british bboy crew, and Rahzel,
all in one night. After that it's been a freakin drought.

I was only there two days, but it was one of my favorite cities that I saw in Norway. I suppose it wouldn;t be too good of a place for shows, but you got a great fish market! Most nights in Norway I would walk around by myself and get lost, appreciating the asthetics of the cobble stone streets and the Norwegian language. I didn't get a chance to get a feel for the social scene, but Bergan was probably one of the most beautiful cities, outside of Olso and Moulde(sp?). I ended up buying an "authentic" sweater that I'm sure no one but tourists actually wear.

That's probably the weirdest thing that will have happened to me by the end of this week... Not that a lot of weird things happen to me, though.

What do you guys think of Swedish hiphop?

I love parts of it but hates the most of it. There are so many crap rappers 2day. hope the underground hiphop will survive in Sweden.

Think Tomas Rusiak is the illest swedish MC ever...hah.
Nah,but I kinda feel what I heard of Timbuk and Loop Troop...
and I heard some nice tracks from MBMA and Organism 12.

Oh,and I've a couple Petter albums off course,like everyone else here :)

I heard this one swedish rapper that sounded like Goofy on coke. Can't remember his name, though. He's probably the dopest emcee sweden ever bred. Petters 'Mitt sjätte sinne' used to be one of my fav albums. But the follow-ups changed so radically in style and sound, I didn't like any of them.
Look out for The Jekyll and Hyde Project. Norwegian linguists haven't had much success trying to create an own sound yet, but hey, when you least expect it... That means you Leftie.
