hmmm,

sounds like i'm going to be cleaning my brother's house so i can order this gem.

let me tell you that his kitchen is gross. i found a liquified, rotting apple in his fridge behind a case of beer.

ahh, it'll be worth it.

Who's the person that gets tripped on stage? That part was absolute hilarity.

At first thought, it seemed like it was Joe Beats but maybe not

hahaha oh my god just got the video today and just started watching it a little while ago and my boy john white was on the video in a scene where he is talking to the camera about getting thrown out of somewhere and my other boy corey, with the dreads, is there with him haha that shit is random as hell, I was wandering around there somewhere that night

Camera that shit!

That was a funny scene. This DVD is great -- the Joe Beats hypochondriac bit was great. Lots of enjoyment to be had there. It's worth the $20 for the Dance Monkey montage alone -- I needed to have DaVinci's vibrating dance immortalized and Sage answered my prayers with this DVD...

Hell yeah! Finally got the new cd's and the "Life is Easy" DVD today. I don't think I have ever ripped a package open so violently!

Anyway, some thoughts(without spoiling the DVD for others):

-Loved the live recording of Specialist with Gruvis Malt. I love that song as it is, but the live rendition buids up a lot more intensity and Sage's stage presence on that song is classic.

-The Reanimator remixes were pretty badass too. If there is indeed going to be a Reanimator remix album, I'm all over that shit.

-You had "Nobbs" instead of Nobs for the album credits. Its good Nobs replied on this forum or I would have speculated there actually is some Nobbs dude out there.

-I was there at the end of the FCC tour in RI, thanks for bringing back the memories when all the tour performers stripped down at the finale. Its taken a lot of therapy to get the humping Lord Grunge images out of my head, but now they're back.

-Loved the slow motion replay of Joe's stage incident. I literally laughed out loud. Sage's facial expression was the icing on the cake. Did he sustain injuries from that?

Overall I thought the DVD kicked ass. There was enough mix of Sage's personalities, and I feel like I understand him a lot better. The bonus concert footage was also a real treat too. The only thing I wish I saw more of was Sage in his Poetry Slam element. For those that haven't bought this DVD yet, go sell some sperm or rob an old lady (whatever you have to do to get cash) and get it.

Thanks for putting this shit out, Sage.

Actually, I thought the show footage was kinda boring....its good for alot of people who have never been to a Sage show to see what its like but I guess since Ive been to quite a few, watching it on the DVD was kind of lackluster

I wouldve liked more interviews and stuff....I really enjoyed that interview you did about 9/11 and Makeshift Patriot....enjoyed that....actually, I enjoyed the whole DVD except for the show....for me personally, if you were going to put live footage up there, I wouldve preferred tracks or poems that arent readily available....like spoken word, bonus verses to tracks, etc...

But overall, it was a great purchase....and I enjoyed it....laughed my ass off

I agree with you on the perform footage, but that's why I left over an hour of other footage.

The Chicago Producers are some lame ducks.
