That's a cool address. Norway sounds like a good place to travel to.

Norway is, officially, the best country in the world to live in as far as the disparity between the rich and the poor are concerned.

According to the United Nations Development Project, of course.

Second is Australia.

Keep that fact handy - it really stings people when they say "Well...America's the best country in the WORLD!" and you can actually have an informed counterattack for their sillyness. ;-)

Peace,
Shane

I think it's hilarious too. And what, they give you the name of the cities but you have to figure out which country it is yourself? That's sick.. but in a healthy and very fun way. Just love the challenge...

Quality of life -wise (under the typical criteria used to measure it) the Nordic countries have it right... in addition to Norway and its homeless, Sweden and Denmark have the lowest descrepancy in wages between males and females... not to mention europeans handsdown know how to include vacations into their lives... between the catholic holidays (even my anti-religion self had to appreciate that), the 35 hour workweek in france, and the lengthy vacation time, they have that whole 'work to live' thing down pretty well... the expatriot within is rambling once again...

man if you come to scotland and cope with the weather here, norways totally tropical in comparison, think seattle rain plus icelands cold, yeaH but we all have warm hearts.
i still dont have my ticket for tues cos none of the stoopid shops in town are selling any, looks like the long trip to the west end tomorrow to bust down the door of west 13th and poke someone in the ribs with a pencil to secure tickets.
on a lighter note will anyone be goingto see avril lavigne in march??
