| Sage Francis "ROAD TESTED" CD, the NEW live album |
|
|
Strange Famous Records presents:
Sage Francis
"ROAD TESTED"
the quintessential live Sage Francis album, featuring the music, spoken word and banter of an abused road dog.
This CD contains MIXED AND MASTERED live audio recordings spanning from 2003-2005 (The Fuck Clear Channel tour, Live Band Dead Poet tour, A Healthy Distrust Tour)
Many of these tracks on this album were retrieved from the Dead Poet Live Album CD, but due to sound quality issues that CD had to be discontinued. The tracks we were able to save from that album were remixed, and in some cases bass was added since not much bass gets picked up through a sound board recording. Then the whole album got mastered at a professional mastering plant, making this album more esthetically pleasing. It's still dirty as fuck, but at least it has some low end now.
Also, this CD contains some of the only existing recordings of the ill-fated Gimme Fund, who toured as Sage's backing band on the Fuck Clear Channel Tour.
1) Holy Rollin' 2005
2) Runaways (w/ Gruvis Malt, recorded at the Call in Providence, RI 2003)

Hey Sage, do you plan on putting out the Gimme Fund version of Bang Bang Boogie at some point? I really liked that on the tour, maybe it was just the play on Nancy Sinatra, but it came out really well. |
