Free Fugazi show @ Ft. Reno park last night  Reply with quote

they have this free concert series in the nations capitol every summer. On Mondays and Thursdays they bring out this little stage and shitty p.a. and have at it and the best part is: IT'S ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!!!

There were at least 7000 people in this park last night, maybe 10,000, I was blown away. they played all old shit, plus all the good stuff on the new album.

is there anything like this going on anywhere else in the country?

A couple radio stations in Boston put on free concert series at The Hatch Shell in Boston. The schedule for this year isn't up yet, but they've had some decent acts in the past like Guster, Moe, The Shiela Divine and Dave Navarro. If you go to www.hatchshell.com there's a little picture of it at the top.

gatdamn!!! If there was ever any 'punk' show I still wouldn't mind going to, it would be a Fugazi show.

WTF?! For free?!?! That's fuckin HAHT!! Did they play anything off repeater??

that record goes down as one of my main top 5 musical influences. No DOUBT!!!

fugazi often plays for free or for a very reasonable price.

$5 every show, $10 every record. A band that's manage to keep doin that since the late 80s and manage to continue makin a living primarily with it, gets my upmost respect.

one of the very few bands that anyone would consider "punk" I still listen to.
