definetly a shocker when i read it in this mornings paper while at work

thats crazy... any more info on why he got shot?

i was thinking about going to see them when they were around here on the Aerosmith-Kid Rock- Run DMC show, but it was over $50

i figured i would just see them around some other time

It wouldn't have been worth it for you anyway...apparently Run DMC were shafted throughout the tour. They played for like 5 minutes, and the review I read said they were basically there for Walk This Way.

Run DMC was the FIRST hip hop tape ( there weren't cd's back then) I ever bought.

Very sad.

I wouldn'tve known WTF rap was if it weren't for Run DMC.

Now Peter Piper picked peppers but Run rocked rhymes
Humpty Dumpty fell down that's his hard time
Jack B. Nimble what nimble and he was quick
But Jam Master cut faster Jack's on Jay's dick
Now Little Bo Peep cold lost her sheep
And Rip van Winkle fell the hell asleep
And Alice chillin somewhere in Wonderland
Jack's servin Jill a bucket in his hand
And Jam Master Jay's making out our sound
The turntables might wobble but they don't fall down

Now Dr. Seuss and Mother Goose both did their thing
But Jam Master's gettin loose and D.M.C.'s the king
Cause he's adult entertainer
Child educator
Jam Master Jay king of the crossfader
He's the better of the best best believe he's the baddest
Perfect timin when I'm climbin I'm a rhymin apparatus
Lot of guts
When he cuts
Girls move their butts
His name is Jay hear the play he must be nuts
And on the mix real quick and I'd like to say
He's not Flash but he's fast and his name is Jay

not to take anything away from the life of Jam Master Jay, but he didn't make those beats.

They talked about this on Barkley's new show. And had a moment of silence.

Its really just a fucking shame. First wellstone, then this. I dunno, seems like all the people whos politics I agree with are dying. I bet you that the media is going to write this off as "gang violence" or "rap violence" or some other shit. And he was so much against all that too...... damn
