damn, was anyone else at orion for hiphopatamus...sage, you ripped it up. went from "hey bobby" (that is what its called, no?) to rewrite....crack pipes, hopeless, can i kick it...the list goes on and on and on. i was the guy in the beany just kickin every word with you....i was about 8 rows back..center. the energy was LIVE. you rocked it, sage...and everyone was into it. i brought a long a friend and she was just tantalized by your lyrical spell...the show was sick...no doubt...your performance was most definitely worth standing in a packed venue, inhaling smoke and weed for 3 hours...when you come on stage, i almost creamed in my pants..literally.
oh, by the way, sage...good job with the ladies up there, and your hair looked beautiful.
you didnt have merchandise did you? |

obviously sage doesnt do a lot of shows out here in LA, so i knew i had to come. but he didnt do Black Sweatshirt. i wuz the guy that kept yellin at sage to do it. i admit to some degree of dissappointment. i think Narcissist made up for it tho. oh, and mikah 9 sucked ass compared to most everyone else on the bill |

it was a damn good show. emanon.......damn. the last time i was supposed to see him, he ended up not going on. but his set last night was really good. as for all these questions about mikah 9........i didnt think that his set was all that great. as for sage's set, it was damn good. the intro was the best. he didnt even turn around for the first couple of minutes. and then there was the legends, and half the crowd cleared out.
i must say, it was quite a pleasure to meet sage in person. we had a nice little chat by the b-boys in the back. all in all it was a good show.
la will just have to wait til the gruvis malt tour for now....... |

The show was definitely hot at Orion. The crowd was like a bunch of meteors shooting in the same direction as the sun sets himself up in the sky. Everyone looked like they were in a cult from the top of the balcony, Just going with the rythm and repeating every line that was coming out of Sage's mouth. It was a crazy show! All these unexpected MCs showed up. Awol and Circus came, along with Aceyalone and others. It was nice seeing Mikah9 perform, his delivery was tight but i dont think that many people felt him. Anyways,the crowd was soooo hyped when Sage got up just to set up the mic. Hey Bobby is soooo tight!!! After Hey Bobby, Makeshift Patriots rocked the show! Really felt this one...for everyone who didn't show up...SORRY! thanks sage...that made my year. |
