Paul McCartney Conspiracy  Reply with quote

I have heard of this conspiracy about Paul McCartney and "Billy Shears". I think if you play Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds backwards, you hear the words "I buried Paul". I am not sure which song exactly it was but its right before the end of it with i believe a noise like a train in the background. Its pretty fucked up.

Conspiracy  Reply with quote

People have been trying to hide subliminal messages in records for years.
If you play "Climb Trees" backwards you can hear Sage saying "Naked girlfriend photos", "Send them to me" and "Do it now". Try it, it works. It freaked me out!

As for Paul McCartney being replaced by am imposter that fooled millions of fans and his entire family, I would say "unlikely".
I think you should knock the weed on the head if you believe that one!

There was a whole "conspiracy" when the Beatles were popular that Paul had actually died that they had replaced him with a stand-in. I dont think Lucy had anything if you played it backward but #9 absolutely does...also Strawberry Fields, at the end of the song if you turn it up reeeeal loud you can hear, "I buried Paul" Also they put things in album inserts and also AbbeyRoad's cover is chalked gull of clues...........28if

good publicity

Yes, Paul McCartney did die and was replaced by his identical twin, also named Paul McCartney.

Dead Macca  Reply with quote

Surely, Paul dying would have been a great career move?
Everyone loves a dead rock star.
Lennon didnt have a solo UK number one single until after he died.
Same with Jimi Hendrix.

Also, it would have saved us having to suffer "Ebony and Ivory", "Mull of Kintyre" and the fucking Frog Chorus!

I buried Paul  Reply with quote

The "I Buried Paul" thing is bullshit, John is actually saying "Cranberry Sauce," if you listen to Anthology #2 it's a lot clearer. I think the most bizarre clue is found on the "Magical Mystery Tour" cover. They say if you look at the word "Beatles" in the mirror it spells out a phone number and supposedly if you called it in the 60's somebody would say "You're getting closer" and then hang up. Here's a good website if you want more info http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/3674/pid.html

I'm glad that I am not the only one that's heard about that conspiracy. It was kind of ignored on the last post... I agree that it sounds like it says "I burried Paul" as opposed to Cranberry sauce. I've also heard the stuff about that number. IF you have any of the actual albums notice the album covers - on one of them it looks like paul was actually superimposed on the album. On another he's the only one in a white suit and not wearing shoes (I sign of death in other cultures).

The funniest shit though, was when Chris Farley interviewed Paul McCartney on Satuday Night Live. "Member that time.... when you were in that group the Beatles? (Chris Farley) "Yes" (Paul McCartney) "Uhh... that was cool." (Chris Farley) Comedy!

Otis Redding was the first person to have a posthumous #1 hit with 'Sitting On The Dock of The Bay'..

I think there's some backwards talk on Ol' Dirty Bastard's first album, but never had it on vinyl to find out..
