Josh Martinez is alright, I guess...I have some of his songs on my computer, but none of it was impressive enough for me to feel like buying any of his stuff. I think you hit the nail on the head Sage, he just doesn't strike me as genuine.

And on an adeem related note, it's adverse that's the dope emcee on Dorian Three right? He did the song that is like "mister bartender, mister bartender yo" right? cause Adeem has a barpatron song, and I hate it, but Adverse is amazing. And I think that the diffrence between the two is the reason I don't like Adeem or Josh Martinez, but like someone like Sole or Sage.

yes, Adverse does the Mr Bartender song. He has a lot in store for this hiphop world if he ever decides to go public with his talent.

i'm not really a cage fan.. but damn.. i love dude's appraoch..

the only thing sincere about his music is his anger.. and that shit is great..

"left handed path" is the only track that i've really heard from his album, but that's one of my most favorite of recent songs

my favorite little quotable - "if my thought patterns, brought parents to warp atoms, and spit violence in death, then kids start gathering.. i'm just fucking withyou bitch don't get offended, this aint' your average antipop record with a happy ending.. "
i doubt even half of cage's fans get the joke..

and sage, that's exactly how'd i'd describe it.. safe music.. it's alll too comfortable and i can't put all too much trust in it.. granted i listen to a whole lot of cornball, feel good shit.. but for some reason, i FEEL that good music should have more edge.. it shouldn't be user friendly..

well...Spin gave me something to. What was it?

For some reason I convinced myself it was Spin.

Either way...they really fed my love for popular media.

Does Adverse drink at all? Or is Mr Bartender completely satirical?

Sage-
I was looking for an appropriate thread to put my comment, but I can't find one so I'll just stick it here. I'm not sure you'll even reply to me, since I pissed you off and you put me in my place, hah. Either way, I did have a question for you. I was just curious if you knew Serena Andrews. She's a musician/artist from Providence and she used to date my friend's brother. If you happen to know her, you probably know Ed, too. If that's the case, let me know. She just seems like someone you'd befriend.

How can you say that you like music because it's different. All music is different, whether it's good or not is the real problem. And Josh Martinez i cannot get into. Just because it's different doesn't mean it's good.
