and challenge my boyfriend to Double Dribble often. got to love those cheerleaders for their ability to jump while keeping their torso in limbo in the exact position as when they are standing.
i love the pink jogging suit that mac sports in mike tyson's punch out when he's running along the skyline to that music with the intense casio keyboard trills
as well as the bassline in Paperboy when running the obsctavle course.
very samplable, very nintento-funky. |

Oh shit...I was too caught up on Rygar to notice...
I have Klu Klu Land, too....love that game...what a weird concept...but nonetheless...a dope game.

FESTERS QUEST anyone? probably one of the most bootleg games ever... no nintendo seal of approval, no appropriate licensing for the Addams family rights... but a fun game... also hard as hell.
me and my dad used to play "Milons Secret Castle"... that game was a bitch too..
my personal favorite is Super Mario Brothers 2. so different compared to the first and third... Luigi was the best in that.

I inherited one cause my original burned along with my house in 2000.
I bought Ninja Gaiden COMPLETE at the flea market for 5 bucks this past summer.
I'm actually looking for Super Mario 3. |

But I never understood why they designed it in a way that made it IMPOSSIBLE to get a cartridge SECURE into the slot. It was so fucking faulty. And it resulted in MANY personality disorders. I'm sure of it.

i just remembered that they came out with another version after all the complaints about that....the newer version, you loaded the cartridges on the top

i still got that power pad. i also got 'the glove' and 'rob the robot'.
rob the robot sucked. you could only play it with 'gyromite' and 'wrecking crew'. anything else moved too fast for him.
that glove still has an strange control over me. its like my "linus blanket". i wear it sometimes while just sitting at the computer or watching tv.
it makes me feel young again.
except it has about 15 or so years of palm sweat in it.
did anyone else used to get motion sickness from 'pilot wings'?
peace,

how come no one has started arguing yet?
Is it because djdee hasn't yet posted on this thread?
Or could video games bring world peace? |

Zelda, Crystalis, Destiny Of An Emperor and Final Fantasy took up 68% of my childhood.
I ALWAYS hated Paperboy. I could never make it past Wednesday.
3D World Runner was a fun game, paved the way for Sonic The Hedgehog.
Ice Hockey and Super Dodgeball were the shit. |
