as far as bottled water, Evian is my fave.. followed by Fiji.

All I drink is water, anytime, anywhere... iced tea sometimes (fresh). At home I just use my PUR filter/pitcher thing in my fridge.

peaces.

Yeah I always thought that selling bottled water is like selling ice to eskimos. If I am buying bottled water it is because I am going to be somewhere where I can't get a drink for free, or I am really thirsty, or I am not feeling good. If I was going to make a choice of bottled water I guess it would be evian.

You've tasted the inside of a dog's ass?

That's special.

Hey, that was for charity!

Uh, yeah. I will stay away from tap water for awhile because this morning after brushing my teeth, i rinsed it with a nice big gulp o' brown water from my sink and freaked the fuck out.

Hetch Hetchy  Reply with quote

Anyone know of the Hetch Hetchy controversy involving Pinchot & Muir. Check it out at www.sierraclub.org (i think), Now they bottle Hetch Hetchy water and sell it with this picture of the valley that once existed. Honestly, check this out if you don't know about it, it's important environmental policy that happened around 1913 and still has lasting effects today.

By the way, the bottled water is prettty good...should I have not purchased it?

Yall should look into you're local areas, theres a damn good chance that theres a local water company that taps pure water springs, that is what you should be looking for. Forget dasani, evian and the others as they are saturated with salt. Ever notice that when you drink those that they leave you're mouth a bit dry? It's like going to a bar and eating pretzels, eventually you'll end buying more and more drinks to quench you're thirst.

Just look around, here in the Adirondacks there are multiple springs to get water yourself, beautiful clean tasting water, for free, as much as you want. If you don't live in place near mountains, look around like I said, you're bound to find a water company that taps PURE springs, just look! You're body will thank you!

Peace.

I don't know how I remember this but once in a thread recently, about a single Anonjondoe was releasing (still looking forward to that one incidentally!), the topic turned to bottled water. I go for flavoured Volvic (which also got compared to the word 'vulva' in the topic) - strawberry. Tap water's okay round here - it's strange though because in some areas it's known as hard water, in some it's soft. It tastes/feels different. It's fully drinkable though.

Hard and Soft  Reply with quote

The difference between hard and soft water is just the addition of salt to the water isn't it? I'm not certain which one is which, but I think that's how the whole soft/hard water thing works

Soft water is what you drink out of the tap.

Hard water is what you shower with, theres a lot more chlorine in hard water than soft.

Just to clear things up.

Be Good.

Hard water is water with high mineral content, while soft water has relatively low concentrations of minerals.

Actually, the tap water at my house is not bad at all. But as for bottled water, Dasani I'd have to say.
