I love Bottle Rocket, I really have trouble rating each one over the next, I went to school with a kid who was like a huge wes anderson fan, they shot rushmore at his high school in houston, and he's working for someone who was in some of the movies, and his family also knows Wes Anderson's family...so he's a huge fan and it just kind of rubbed off on me this last year.

If you haven't seen Bottle Rocket, you should go find a way to see it--I really think it's amazing especially for a first film, it's very very polished.

But to be totally topical, Royal Tennebaums is amazing and a lot of fun to watch...great film one of last years best. How Gene Hackman didn't get an academy nod for this was astounding.(well not really knowing how they do those things, but still--astounding)

Bottle Rocket and Rushmore were great. I found Royal Tennenbaums to be a star-studded letdown.
