Here is my show schedule for the next few months. Some changes have been made. The Canadian tour was cancelled for now. Thank God. And a shows have been added to LA and Pittsburgh

the show is in the heritage cafe located inside the memorial student center (10th ave and 3rd st) in menomonie. it is a free show, no age limit, will start at eight p.m.
no alcohol but the cafe will be open to buy food.

This is a bit out of the way, but I highly recommend poetry lovers to check out this event. It will consist of some unbelievable talent. Here are a list of SOME of the performers: Kwesi Davis (one of my favorites EVER), Bernard Dolan (the talk of the town at the Nationals), Bill MacMillan (author of The Worst Rapper in the World), Patricia Smith (the woman who inspired me to do spoken word), and SO many others including some Def Poetry Jam weirdos.

the Canadian promoter wasn't returning my calls or emails. So I had to give up on that tour and accept all the other shows that were being offered to me.
I am completely open to doing a tour in Canada in the future if that same promoter (or another promoter_ comes through with a proposal and actually sticks to it.
Seriously y'all...Canada is a difficult place to work out shows for. For many reasons. I'm sorry. And it really doesn't help when your name is red marked. |
