While cleaning out the 2009 SFR vault we came across this 1,000 bar marathon between Mac Lethal & B. Dolan called “Free Floating Hostility.” This is a whimsical, blackberry-freestyle type track that isn’t attached to any project so we figured we should kick off the new year by releasing it as a free download right now. B. Dolan is currently touring the North West with Sleep of Oldominion & Cecil Otter of Doomtree. His Fallen House, Sunken City album with Alias will be released on March 2nd, 2010. Oh yeah, and we can thank Drake for the term “blackberry-freestyle.”

B. killed it as usual! Loved the pissin’ vinegar from drinking all the sour grapes line and the don’t get it twisted…i love just as much as i hate line too. Actually pretty much every line was really dope from both of you!
This def’ has an older hip hop feel to it for me. I really-really like it!!!

Wow.
Both killed it, brought it back to life, taught it to procreate, then killed it again.
This track was both sick AND entertaining at the same damned time. You got the rollin’, 90′s style beat poundin’, (ideal for bumping on a slow drive somewhere) mixed with very clever, flowing lyrics. Not just any lyrics, either. Two of the undergrounds best taking potshots at one another, industry, celebrities and media.
