This week’s “Clip of the Week” is DOWNLOADABLE! This is the first recording of “Drop Bass,” a song that eventually came out on my first 12″ vinyl in 1999. This recording was for someone’s mixtape as Vocab and Sage Francis passed the mic back and forth. The final version of Drop Bass is available on Sage’s “Sick of Waiting Tables” CD or you can purchase the song for 99 cents on our MP3 page. Other than that, enjoy the free download! -SFR

This is the audio to a video that will appear on the next Sage Francis DVD, entitled Li(f)e. No set release date as of yet. The video was filmed at a sold out performance in LA at the Henry Fonda Theater in 2005. This version of Sea Lion features Jolie Holland, Sol.iLLaquists of Sound and Tom Inhaler. The original version of Sea Lion is on Sage Francis’ “A Healthy Distrust” album.
