Alias (aka Brendon Whitney) is an honorary member of Strange Famous. Although he isn’t “signed” per se, his collaborations and involvement with SFR and its artists date back to 1999. Since co-founding the anticon collective in 1998, Alias’ collaborative work and solo efforts have solidified his position as one of hip-hop’s greatest triple threats…emcee/producer/engineer. Not only has Alias shared two national tours with Sage Francis and produced tracks on every official Sage album, but since moving back to his native New England in 2008 he has contributed a variety of his services to Prolyphic & Reanimator’s “The Ugly Truth” as well as B. Dolan’s debut, “The Failure.”

Alias’ next SFR release is his first full-length project for the label, a collaboration with B. Dolan called “Fallen House, Sunken City,” dropping March 2, 2010. Read on for more details… Read More…
